Malay Mitra is the chief mentor for the Pharma vertical. He has been involved with the CDCSO, under the Ministry of Health, Govt. of India. He is currently advisor to a large number of Pharma manufacturing companies including MNCs, for regulatory compliance matters & GMP. He has also assisted PHARMEXCIL in some areas and is associated with the BIS in its working groups. He has audited around 1500 institutions till date including a few in China. He was an active participant in the formation of the Schedule M of Drugs and Cosmetics Act. More than 200 presentations on various technical topics have been delivered by him in various fora including the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association, Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association, Bureau of Indian Standards etc. He was a regular visitor to The NIPER, Mohali, as a GMP presenter and teacher in a World Bank assisted training programme for technical staff, laboratory personnel of Government as well as private testing laboratories and regulatory personnel. He was a member of the Indo-EU working group in Pharma and Biotech for four years and visited Brussels twice on the issue. During his tenure heading the medical device division of CDCSO, he brought about an understanding of medical device in his division and also had constant interaction with the stake holders to get a comprehensive idea of the issue of regulating medical devices. He represented the country at the Asian Harmonisation Working Party (AHWP) meeting held at Chengdu at China to present the Indian point of view in medical device regulations. In 2008 he was instrumental in bringing the AHWP conference to India and it was held in New Delhi successfully.
Biman Saha (B.Pharm, PGDM) is the guiding force, in advisory capacity, behind our deliverables in the Pharma sector. He has wide experience as Departmental in-charge of Injection & Capsule divisions, Liquid & Dry Syrup divisions of major pharma companies and has also worked as Production Manager and Factory manager responsible for the complete manufacturing process. He was subsequently elevated as General Manager & Director of a Pharmaceutical company. His vision & valuable insights gathered in the course of his long career, helps to formulate strategies for offering our services in a way which will be of maximum benefit to our clients.
